Trying to figure out a way to say goodbye is never easy to do, especially when it's people who've always been there for you. As I wait at gate 56A for a flight taking me across continents it's hard to believe that I'm actually leaving. As excited as I am to start my journey in Chile, there's a part of me that doesn't want to leave just yet. All of a sudden I found about 20 things I've yet to do and 50 places I've yet to eat. I also started making a checklist to see how prepared I am for the next 365 days. Unfortunately, that checklist turned into an unprepared list as it occurred to me that I'm about as prepared for this adventure as a pilot without any arms. All doubts and seconds guesses aside, this is going to unlike anything I've ever done in my life and I can't wait. I hope you enjoy what I find and provide you a small glimpse into an outsiders perspective looking in.
